GWAR have just announced their 2019 fall headline tour.  In a clear dig at Trump, they are calling it the “Use Your Collusion” tour.  The national expedition will be starting at the NorVa in Norfolk, Virginia on September 12th, and concluding at the iconic Vogue in Indianapolis on November 5th.  Over the course of the two month tour, GWAR will be playing two festival sets; the first at Riot Fest in Chicago, and the second at Louder Than Life in Louisville, Kentucky.  Fellow thrash metal groups Sacred Reich and Toxic Holocaust along with Detroit rock band Against The Grain will be opening up for GWAR throughout this fall tour.

GWAR’s most recent project is The Blood of Gods, released on October 20th, 2017.  The album went on to receive much critical praise, including Loudwire adding the album to their 25 Best Metal Albums of 2017 list and describing the project as, “bursting with personality and character [and] gleefully ignorant wit“.  The band has had to overcome some obstacles as of late, with their bassist Jamison Land leaving the band in February, and the music video for “I’ll Be Your Monster”, a track off The Blood of Gods, being demonetized on YouTube.
